宏基笔记本10月出货量为140万台环比下降10

元器件交易网讯 11月7日消息，据笔记本供应链制造商消息，宏碁10月份的笔记本电脑出货量为140万台，比上月下降10%，预计其第四季度的出货将达到450万台。消息指出，出货量下降的主要原因是中国劳动力短缺问题，也受到零售渠道的需求疲软的影响。

自从9月以来，国内主要的笔记本电脑生产基地如上海、昆山、重庆和成都等城市都已遭遇劳动力短缺，导致很多上游供应商无法如期完成10月的订单。

Acer October notebook shipments down sequentially

Acer shipped 1.4 million notebooks in October, dropping 10% on month, and is expected to ship 4.5 million units in the fourth quarter, according to notebook supply chain makers.

The sources pointed out that the shipment drop was mainly due to labor shortages in China, while weak demand in the retail channel also had some effect.

China"s major notebook production bases in cities such as Shanghai, Kunshan, Chongqing and Chengdu have been suffering from labor shortages since September, causing many upstream suppliers to be unable to fulfill orders for October.

As for Asustek Computer, the company is expected to achieve an on-month shipment growth of 30% in October thanks to its non-touchscreen notebooks and Transformer Book T100.
